AIA Cincinnati congratulates members Douglas Furia and Jesse B. Webb who recently passed their ARE exams to become licensed architects, moving from Associate AIA to full AIA! Kudos for your hard work and impressive accomplishments!

Douglas Furia, AIA

Hixson Architecture, Engineering, and Interiors

Douglas began his career in Northwest Ohio with SSOE, Inc in 2013, but recently returned to his hometown of Cincinnati and joined Hixson Architecture, Engineering, and Interiors. Professionally he has worked in Construction Management, BIM/VDC, and Architecture within a range of different sectors including commercial, education, food and consumer products, automotive manufacturing and EV battery manufacturing/recycling. Douglas and his wife Elsa have four children (all 6 and under!). In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, and ultimate frisbee.

Jesse B. Webb, AIA, NCARB
Architect
Woolpert Inc.

Jesse grew up in Youngstown, Ohio. He worked for Strollo Architects for four years between degrees and has been working for Woolpert for ten years. He is an Associate/Principal at Woolpert and was recently awarded the High Performance/Core Value award. He enjoys collaborating with talented colleagues and exploring unique design and technical solutions. He has experience in Aviation, Recreational, Educational, Mixed-Use Multi-Family, Hospitality, Industrial, Religious, and other forms of architectural projects. Outside of work, he enjoys sports and exercise, art, music, and spending quality time with his family.
