On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the novel coronavirus a global health emergency. The virus, now known as COVID-19, was first identified in January in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Confirmed cases have spread throughout the world.

Concern for member health and safety, airline restrictions, and travel warnings are affecting association global operations and conferences, as is the new stay-at home order issued March 22 in effect through April 6, 2020. The resources compiled here will help you stay informed on this rapidly evolving situation.

AIA Ohio continues to gather information on specialized contractors who can help hospitals and conversions of non-medical spaces (please complete this form), as well as healthcare architects (please complete this form).

We have compiled a list of resources for you to refer to. This list will continue to grow as the situation evolves. If you have suggestions for other resources or additional ways we can help, please contact Executive Director Julie Carpenter.
