South Fairmount – Lick Run District Workshop
AIA Cincinnati’s Urban Design Committee is hosting a community planning workshop to connect the residents and stakeholders of South Fairmount with the design community to consider the future of the neighborhood after the Lick Run Greenway project is completed.Among the topics for consideration are desired zoning changes and street modifications; civic infrastructure; physical development priorities; and actions that can be taken now to work toward the future vision. 9:15 – 9:20 : Welcoming Remarks
9:20 – 10:10 : Framework for the day outlining goals, neighborhood history, Lick Run Greenway project background
10:10 – 10:30 : The Existing Conditions and anticipated conditions post-Lick Run completion
10:30 – 12:00 : Working Brunch / Lunch
12:00 – 1:00 : Broad Themes and Big Ideas about the future, the brand, and what should go where
1:00 – 2:15 : Small Group Planning around a particular geographic area or topic (housing, retail, transportation, etc)
2:15 – 2:45 : 2 Minute Closing Presentations by Each Group
2:45 – 3:00 : Closing Remarks and Clean-up
