Participating firms will be asked to have a representative present at this event to give a 3-minute introduction about your firm, and will show the three slides submitted. The audience will consist of over 120 SAID (School of Architecture and Interior Design) students who are seeking a co-op job opportunity.
Note: 3 slides are due by email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Sept. 20th at 5:00 pm.
Each firm will have an 8′ x 8′ (+/-) area to display. A 6′-0” rectangular table and (4) chairs will be placed at your area—(2) of them for students. Firms are expected to conduct back-to-back 15 minute portfolio reviews per student sign-up sheets at the event. Firms may bring backdrop displays: pull-up panels, easels & boards, etc. Electricity for laptop computers will be available. Feel free to hand out brochures, cards and other marketing material.
Portfolio Review Format
Firms will have 8 time slots (30 minutes apart) to meet students for Portfolio Reviews. You will get to meet the students see their work as you review their portfolios. The students would like your advice on how they can improve their portfolios. Dates allow exposure to both Architecture and Interior Design students.
Event cost includes a DAAP Grand Stair booth space for your exhibits. A portion of the fee will be used to support UC’s summer SAID architecture camp. Fee includes box lunches and parking (for two vehicles in the DAAP Clifton Court garage).
