The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) is seeking public feedback on the standard State of Ohio design and construction agreements. The public comment period will be open between January 1, 2019 and March 1, 2019.
This will kick off the State’s five-year update cycle of all standard template agreements. After the public comment period is closed, the State will evaluate the feedback and develop edits to the Architect/Engineer Agreement, Multiple Prime Contract, General Construction Contract, Construction Manager at Risk Contract, Design Build Contract and Consultant Agreements. These contract document revisions will be released for public use between January and July of 2020. The OFCC intends to follow a similar process of updating the State of Ohio standard design and construction agreements every five years after the 2020 document updates are published.
Each public comment submission is limited to a specific agreement/contract. An individual may submit feedback on more than one contract document within the public comment period.
If you would like to complete another survey for each type of document, you will need to clear the cookies from your computer in between each survey. The State reserves the right to determine what feedback will be incorporated and the specific language for any edits.
