Project Management at Hixson

Hixson, an architecture, engineering and interior design firm specializing in projects for retail projects, corporate office environments and industrial processing facilities, has an opening in our Project Management group for a Project Manager. The selected applicant will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of Hixson projects by:

* Demonstrating effective leadership and the ability to direct project teams comprised of experienced associates from multiple disciplines.
* Working with clients to understand their needs and their business issues.
* Identifying and solving issues and managing scope, budget and quality in a proactive, timely manner.
* Communicating effectively and decisively with both internal teams and the client.

Minimum Qualifications

* Experience participating in large-scale facilities design projects in a retail, office or industrial environment.
* Solid knowledge of contracts (design and construction), schedules, cost estimating and the design process.
* Ability to develop relationships with clients.
* Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients.
* Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
